In the afternoon you will enjoy a city tour for exploring the many museums as well the famous Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption, a prized World Heritage Site.
In this morning you will visit the Peñitas Beach, is the perfect opportunity for a day of relaxation under the sun enjoying the water. For nature lovers, at sunset we visit the Juan Venado Nature Reserve by boat, between the island and the coast grows a mangrove forest, which houses tons of birds. Furthermore, crocodiles live in the water as well as lots of crabs and other crustaceans. Where (depending on the time of year) you might be lucky enough to see baby turtles emerging from the turtle hatchery!
In this day you will take the shuttle service (or private transfer) to San Jorge, and next the ferry to Ometepe Island. Due to the diversity of natural life and activities that Ometepe offers, it has become a must-see destination in Nicaragua. Upon arrival you will enjoy the sunset at the lookout Jesus Maria, the best place to admire this beautiful volcanic island with an active volcano (Concepcion) and a biological reserve (Maderas).
