Day 1

Apoyo Lagoon

Whether you wish to be greeted at the airport by one of our agents, or picked up at the Costa Rican Border, with Welcome to Nicaragua you are in safe hands from the moment you arrive will be supplied with all the info you need for your trip, as well as details of the exciting adventures that lay ahead of you. On the way to your first destination you will visit one of the highlights of this package, the active Masaya Volcano National Park. This National Park comprises an area of 54 km and includes two volcanoes and five craters.After the Masaya Volcano you will leave the city and head to a place of pristine natural beauty. Frequently referred to as the most stunning site in Nicaragua, the Apoyo Lagoon is a nature reserve with a difference. This magical freshwater lagoon is situated in the crater of a dormant volcano, encircled by trees, foliage and animals. The water is clear and temperate, making it the perfect spot for a relaxing and refreshing swim, yet it’s big enough to allow for water sports without damaging the natural habitat.

Day 2

Ometepe Island

In this day you will take a private transfer to San Jorge Port (Rivas), and the ferry to Ometepe Island. Due to the diversity of natural life and activities that Ometepe offers it has become a must-see destination in Nicaragua. Upon arrival you will enjoy the sunset at the lookout Jesus Maria, the best place to admire this beautiful volcanic island with an active volcano (Concepcion) and a biological reserve (Maderas).

Day 3

Ometepe Island

On this day you will enjoy an excursion visiting four places of the island. First we visit the pre-Columbian museum el Ceibo, where we are going to see a collection of 15,000 archeological pieces found in Ometepe. Then we take a walk of 45 minutes around the lagoon where we can observe wildlife and numerous species of birds. Then we go to Ojo de Agua to refresh ourselves in the volcanic waters. And finish in Santo Domingo Beach.

Day 4

San Juan

Early in the morning the private transfer will take you to Moyogalpa port, and then enjoy the last ferry ride for one hour to the dock of San Jorge port. Were another private transfer will be waiting to take you to San Juan del Sur Bay, before arrive to the bay, you will enjoy a shot of adrenaline in the tropical forest. Glide along the zip lines and climb a suspended stairs bridge and enjoy a Bird´s Eye View of the life of the jungle habitat first hand. You will have the opportunity to be immersed in nature and see howler monkeys and different species of birds. At sunset afternoon you are going to visit the colossal statue known as “The Christ of the Mercy”. Day 5

Granada

In the morning get ready for your shuttle to Granada. Imagine awe-inspiring colonial buildings and funky street co-exist harmoniously, that’s La Gran Sultana! Your city tour on the horse carriage in the afternoon promises to be insightful and thought-provoking, revealing why makes this place so special.

Day 6

Granada

After breakfast you will enjoy a boat trip to the Islets of Granada, these are a group of 365 small islands scattered about the Asese peninsula. The islets are of volcanic origin, they were formed when the Mombacho volcano blew much of its cone into the lake thousands of years ago, thereby creating the archipelago. After this tour you will enjoy the hike on the top of the Mombacho Volcano Cloud Forest, you are going to walk around one of the old craters. Besides lots of different trees and plants that thrive because of the cloud forests humidity you can also observe howler and white face monkeys, as well as snakes, deer, reptiles, birds, and insects.
